The role of the regions in achieving the 20-20-20 European objectives

On the 26^th of October 2011, Álvaro Pérez de Laborda of Ente Vasco de la Energía (the Basque Energy Board – EVE) gave a speech in Warsaw  representing the ENNEREG project in the framework of the Concerted Action for the Energy Service Directive (CA-ESD) - www.esd-ca.eu. The CA-ESD provides a structured framework for the exchange of information between the 27 Member States and Croatia during their implementation of the Energy Service Directive.

EVE took part in the meeting as an expert coordinating the drawing up of regional Sustainable Energy Action Plans in the 12 regions participating in the ENNEREG project. The speech dealt with the role of the regions in the development of the National Energy Efficiency Action Plans.

EVE will be hosting an ENNEREG meeting in Bilbao in relation with the International Conference of Regional Agencies and the 30th Anniversary of EVE on 7-8th Nov 2012. Further information about this event will be available in due course.
