Summary

The city council of Modena has joined the Covenant of Mayors in January 2010. The Sustainable Energy Action Plan of the Municipality of Modena developed with the support of come2CoM is a strategic document created with input from different stakeholders, public and private, to achieve the commitment of the Covenant of Mayors to reduce the CO₂ emissions by 20% in 2020.

Every citizen of Modena produced in 2009 5,76 tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂), for a total amount of 1.047.000 tons of CO₂ produced by the entire city. The Sustainable Energy Action Plan aims to achieve by 2020 the reduction of 209.400 tons of CO₂, which is about 1,15 tons per capita. To achieve this result, 50 actions will be implemented, divided into four areas: a savings and efficiency city; a city that moves better; a solar energy city; a comprehensive city that grows and changes in a sustainable way.

Experience from the ENNEREG Regions [EN] This report on the Evaluation of ENNEREG Communication and Dissemination Activities provides an analysis of the dissemination activities of the ENNEREG project. In particular it evaluates the effectiveness of the online dissemination via the ENNEREG Regions 202020 website. The aim of this Summary Report, is to illustrate the effectiveness of the Regions 202020 website and Regions 202020 Network as a dissemination, promotion, networking and communications platform for Sustainable Energy Regions throughout Europe.

La Settimana della BioArchitettura e della Domotica, che si terrà a Modena dal 14 al 18 novembre 2011, iniziativa ad ingresso libero e senza scopo di lucro, si strutturerà in diverse sessioni di lavoro che toccheranno tutti gli aspetti più rilevanti della domotica e della progettazione sostenibile, discipline che hanno come principali obiettivi il miglioramento della qualità dell’abitare e la riduzione degli sprechi energetici nel rispetto dell’ambiente, temi trasversali che interessano un pubblico sempre più vasto. La manifestazione prevede varie comunicazioni rivolte a soggetti che a diverso titolo partecipano alla trasformazione e alla riqualificazione del territorio (urbanisti, agronomi e forestali, geometri, architetti, ingegneri edili, impiantisti, tecnici e dirigenti delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni, studenti e docenti, ecc.).
